The Sussex-Wantage Girls' Softball League (SWGSL) is a recreational league for young girls in grades Kindergarten - 12 who are interested in learning the game of softball or who are interested in taking the skills they have to a higher level of play. Our league is open to girls having any level of ability.

Although not officially a "travel" league, our club does offer a similar experience, by arranging "home" and "away" games against like-aged girls in the nearby towns of Vernon, Wallkill Valley & Lafayette. SWGSL's partnership with these towns has been very rewarding.

Our volunteer coaches focus on teaching basic softball skills and the rules of the game to our youngest players, as well as teaching more advanced skills to our higher level players.

Meetings

League meetings are every third Monday of the month in the Library Meeting Room (small meeting room to right as you enter library from main doors) at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
